Jason, the park is huge place, between where I live and where I want to go.
Going around it takes a lot of time and driving.
Waiting for the deer to cross the road is the soft option.
I am still searching google for a deer to human dictionary, no luck yet.
I look forward to discussing bark and old oak trees with the deer.
Even recipes for venison stew.
The Park's annual cull is on at the moment.
The deer are a little bit edgy.

The park is a strange place to be when you're in a hurry. Maybe these deer are trying to tell you something. If you ever happen to understand what they are saying, tell them "The bark on the old oak tree is thick." Then run. Trust me.

It is slightly annoying when there is a long wait. But it is really nice to be so close to the deer. With a 20 mph speed limit in the park, my wife gets to take some good photos as we travel through.

In the "Park" at Havering, the deer are kept within a curiously named, deer enclosure. No problems with traffic there.

Before you fade Ian, this happens almost every day when I am in the park.
Always when I am in a hurry.

Ah,the traffic queue.Boring.But,wait,is that a troop of deer supoerimposed to heighten our amusement.I'm rambling now,so I'll just fade awa...

John, here is a place where the deer rule, they walk, we wait.
most times its a few minutes.
Once I sat and waited while about two hundred deer slowly walked across the road.
The last few panicked, turned around and the whole herd follwed them back across the road.
I nearly fell asleep counting them across.

Didn't the constable issue a citation for j-walking?
