Great River Race 2008

I have pictures of most boats, just ask for a number if not displayed. The Great River Race. One of the 35 classes in the race is for the "Challenge Trophy of the Company of Waterman and Lighterman of the River Thames". The race is from Ham, in Surrey to Greenwich. A distance of 22 miles. Competitors travel huge distances to enter this race. Even from countries in Europe. All boats will be rowed or paddled. About 290 boats will take part in the race. The race is due to start at 2.05pm on Saturday the 13th of September. I hope to start displaying the boats (by entry number) in the early evening.
