we used to call them stinkpoles as kids , they were a lot harder to climb than the normal lampost . but we used to climb them carrying a parachute made from a bit of rag with a lead soldier tied to the end ,it looked quite realistic from that height the little parachute drifting to the ground , happy moments jim mahoney
