Valerie, my aunt is buried under the double decker cemetery.
I have the grave number, and I can assure you she is not forgotten.
It is an obscenity to put all those graves on top just to make money.
My grandfather and grandmother and other relatives are buried in that cemetery, I hope they will be left in peace.

I am Wandsworth born and bred, with most of my ancestors buried here. Where the double- decker part is - are many unmarked, probably now forgotten graves. This section was used in the late thirties, and early forties, but bombed in WW2 so nothing left of original graves. Like many others, I have a grandfather and uncle in this section - and it was left untouched as a monument to the people obliterated by the bombs, and as a place where our families could go to remember them...

I think it a great idea....I wish my relatives were among the photos...I have a long trek ahead of me...
