Minwax is the most expensive wipe on poly in the world. You dont need it.
use any OIL based polyuerethane (NOT water based)and dilute it with the same amount(or slightly less) of white spirit ( NOT turps or turps sustitute) and you have wipe on poly. Good luck.

Some lovely work here. Stumbled across your pages whilst searching for information on Wipe on Poly as I want to try to mix my own for the boxes I make. Can't seem to get the Minwax I have used previously.

The short answer is no. This is a retirement hobby and although I have made boxes for friends for particular occasions, the logistics of costs, shipping, and payment from other people is just not worth doing.

I dont work to plans. Sometimes I see a shape i like, and then just draw an outline and cut it. Sometimes I just think of something I want to make. Each box changes as I make it and I dont do any measurements. I just stop when it looks nice. If I cant make it look nice it goes for firewood and I start again.
