Les quelques photos des Terres de Bélénos que tu a prises sont vraiment belles. Y aurait-il moyen de te contacter pour obtenir celles que tu n'a pas affichées dans ta gallerie d'image?

I hope you like it!

How do you get those wonderful colors in your G2 Melancholy gallery? Duotones? Tritones? If you could email me and let me know, it would be most kind of you. You did a wonderful job on all of those----I couldn't believe they were all with a G2! Fantastic! Thanks again!
Mattias Ekberg 22-Aug-2003 17:22
Hi!
Very nice gallery you've got! I wonder, how did you create the round foggy frame that you've used in your melancholy gallery? And also, how did you create the colortones? Would be nice if you could tell me! Take a look at my gallery if you want!

Bonjour,

I really like your photos, especially the ones in your Melancholy gallery. I bought a g3 a couple months ago and still need to learn a few things. Thanks.
Davis 25-Apr-2003 05:41
Thanks for showing me the capabilities of the Canon G2. I was disappointed having the G3 come out just weeks after my purchase. It renewed my sense that good pictures come from the photographer, not the equipment... though it does help! Your photography is extraordinary. Please keep up the good work and thanks for sharing it.
christine 26-Mar-2003 07:24
Your pictures are captivating! I havent seen such good pictures in a long time... Thanks for posting them and sharing them to someone like me who is thousand of miles away from where you are :)

Your D60 landscape and nature portolio is beautiful. Very inspiring. Thank you for making these images available for viewing.

Joel, Your work is stunning, I've been a non-digital shutterbug for over 20 years and I got my first digital camera a month ago. I've posted some of the results, which can be seen on this site, but they pale in comparison with your work. You have an incredible talent, keep up the beautiful work!
Marc Lester 26-Nov-2002 18:51
Nice pictures! You shoot much the same way I do. Very good eye, keep up the good work.

Joel, very impressive pix, especially for a novice! I've been doing 35mm for quite some time, and been looking to jump into digital. I see the G3 just came out and that may be just perfect (since I can't afford the DSLRs....yet). thanks for sharing! Perhaps I will do the same in the future...
Joel Seguin 11-Sep-2002 12:25
The only other lens that I have is a B+W polarizer. I use it everytime I'm outside. I don't own any other lens. thanks for the nice feedback.
Tracey Smith 11-Sep-2002 03:56
Just saw your pics they are great, looks like you have been very busy! I have had my G2 for about 6 weeks and am so in love with it. I wanted to ask you if you are using or have bought any other lenses or filters for yours. I was wondering whether or not to invest in some. Cheers T:S
MPB 10-Sep-2002 02:17
Excellent display of your talent, Joel! I'm a seasoned photographer who has just taken the "digital dive" and happened to purchase a G2 because I have usable Canon speedlights. In my opinion intro or seasoned photographers should work with the equipmment that they have and not be hung up on every new camera that comes down the pike. It's the person not the camera that really makes a good photo! Kudos!

Hi Jeannine,

I'm sorry, I am the wrong person. I live in Québec Canada, and I don't have two sons. Take care

Cousin? 24-Aug-2002 18:48
Joel,
Are you my cousin who I haven't seen in 14 years? He lives in Los Angeles,CA with his two sons. Is that you, Joel?? If so, I want to let you know how proud I am of you and your triumph over your upbringing. Aunt Rose and I are very happy for you.

Long-lost Cousin in Florida.... Jeannine

Par hasard, j'ai ouvert mon "guestbook" et j'ai trouvé votre gentil mot. J'en suis très flatté car je suis un de vos admirateurs. Je ne manque pas de découvrir vos nouvelles créations.

Thanks alot for the wonderfull messages you left here.

Virginia: Thanks so much for your nice comments, actually no, I don't here taht to often since I'm pretty new to photography. I guess you are right, I could add some info about my settings. Thanks again.

Alex: Thanks alot for the great feedback. Yes the G2 is quite a nice portable camera, sure, you are limited in some type of photography (not enough DOF, not alot of zoom) but overall, its quite nice.

Tom, thanks for the great encouragement, I appreciate it very much.

All the others, I already responded to your message before by mail, thanks again.

Joel

Very nice pictures! I am impressed with the definition, clarity and compositions. Very impressive. I had to go through all your pictures one by one. I own a D30, and just may consider something more portable like a G2 for some trips after seeing what you could do with it.

Thanks for your galleries.

Alex

Your work is amazing! But I am sure that you have heard that many times before :) I wish that you had some tech info, though...it would be interesting to see the types of lenses that you are using, etc. Thanks for posting your images! Your work is truly inspiring!
Tom Rotkiewicz 12-Jul-2002 21:16
Photography has been my hobby for 20+ years and I love it but, as a beginner, I was nowhere close to being as good as I've seen in your galleries. Heck, I would have been embarrassed to post any pics back then! Great work. - Tom

Nice picture.....

Bonjour Joel,

Salutations!

Joel

I've had my G-2 for about four weeks. Is this a great camera or what!!!!!!!

Your gallery is great. The thing that surprises me is that we can do so well with a new piece of equipment.

Keep it up.
Joel Seguin 19-Oct-2001 01:02
Yes, I'm a first time user. Complete novice. The G2 is really great, gives me alot of opportunity. Thank you for the compliment. The pics are all straight out of the camera except the ones that I desaturated the colors. All the others are straight from the camera....and the one of my dog and the dead wood that i cropped a bit. Thats all. Thanks for viewing

Joel
BRIAN 18-Oct-2001 23:44
