Sensor clean 2.jpg

Ok, I hate to admitt this - I never had to clean my sensor.
So, I wanted to get a 2nd, 3rd, and possibility 22nd opinon -
Do you agree with me that this is dust? It only shows up
in some pictures..

In advance, thanks for the consult.

Dust I think. I only see when I use the 10-22 lens and then I clean it with a big blower. Always seems to work for me. Lovely picture as well.

Thanks for reminding me - I need to clean mine too. I've used a wet sensor cleaner ever since I had my 300D over 2 years ago. It's been OK

Hey - that UFO is showing up in some of my pix too!! LOL
Yup, looks like space dust to me. Glad you got it cleaned, it can be really irritating! Beautiful sunrise tho!

Thanks for your response. It was shot at F10 - I took your recommendation to blow the dust off the sensor. A repeat shot of white wall suggest that success!

i was going to say it is an UFO as well.
i presumed this was shot at f11 or more? and if it is on the same spot on repeated photos then yes it is a dust spot.

Only shows on some photos.......Like the ones shot at f/8 to f/22....more noticeable at the higher f-stops......That would be sensor dust.

No, UFO!

Very nice sunset... and I suspect dust (that, or there's a giant UFO in frame). ;^)
