The items in this gallery are made of PMC... or Precious Metal Clay. AKA: Fine Silver
Metal Clay is made up of microscopic particles of silver... that are suspended in an organic binding material that lets the artist work with it as a clay form.
Once the pieces are fired in a kiln all the binding material is completely burned off... leaving behind nothing but Fine Silver.
Each piece is completely handcrafted... including the fused glass elements. As you'll see in my designs I'm very taken with earthy organic things.
I use lots of leaves from my yard to make impressions with... so you really get a little piece of me in those pieces.
(happily all the dog hair burns off with the binder :::snicker:::)
