Mower Deck Spindle Repair

My Dad's Dixon 427 lawn mower has been getting very noisy, so I checked the mower deck spindles and found that the center spindle was very loose. After taking it apart, it's apparent that this problem was going on for a few seasons.
Original worn-out spindle shaft, which is supposed to be .750 the full length
