Hi Kathi...thanks for looking at my galleries! My Bananas are the 'small'species, they only grow to bout 6 or 7 inches max...they take FOREVER to ripen on the vine - I'm talkin once they get 'mature size' then over a month to begin turning 'eating' yellowish ...Keep Kool

My Mom has only had her banana plant for a year it has produced bananas already but there was frost here in new smyrna beach area so we had to pick them they were green we lost them.Now on the other tree right to it there is another pod that bananas will come how long does it take for bananas to mature and ready to pic?Thank you any help would be appreciated Kathi katcorby@gmail.com
