Thanks for dropping by my gallery everyday. I have to delete some messages because first and foremost this is my photo gallery wherein I would like to share my photos and get feedback on my photography. This gallery is not a public blog or a public message board. There are other software and programs available on the net that can provide this service like Facebook, multiply and friendster. I hope you will understand. If I find messages that are posted and are not relevant to my gallery, I remove it.

Lori, thanks for visiting my site. just keep on shooting. your eye, like any other muscle in our body needs exercise. practice makes perfect regardless of what camera brand/model or type (film or digital) you use. remember that the camera is just a tool or an extension of your eye. learn to master whatever tool you are using. familiarize yourself with the limitations of your tool and work over it. improvise, adapt and modify. the important thing is the end product -- your vision of what the photo should look or feel like when viewed. keep shooting.

I think you take some really cool photos. It's nice to find film photos on pbase. I am just beginning to get into photography and I have my Mom's old Canon AE-1 Program...and a Nikon N65...can't wait to learn to take good photos. You inspire me.

i'm sorry but i don't have his email address. i could contact kizzy though and ask for his number. if i am not mistaken, roldan still works with KFC in cagayan de oro. if you are based in cagayan de oro, you might want to visit one of their branch and ask around. the last time i saw roldan (although we are not that close) was in an internet cafe right beside the robinsons KFC branch. cheers!!!

wow, the pictures are really great! ang galing galing mo na, nag-aral ka ba ng photography? anyway, i really love sunsets and sunrises and the sea next time ito naman ang kunan mo, how about the under the sea pictures? (sobrang request na ba ito?). it would be fascinating capturing the wonders of the deep in pictures. siguro you need a special camera to do that.

actually i plan to do a photographic essay on the brass makers of Tugaya, Lanao del Sur. (the maranaos) are known for their craftsmanship in brass making. i already have contacts there and i am just waiting for a good timing and budget. another is a photographic essay on the state of education in mindanao. it looks a bit ambitious but i really would like to do it someday. your suggestion to capture in pictures the rural worker in his/her environment would also be an interesting project. thanks for dropping by. please do come back. kitakits.

Jas, okay ang mga picture at ang mga subject - human, nature, etc. Pero ano kaya kung magkaroon ka ng isang album na ang lalamanin ay images tungkol sa rural worker - tipong people in the work place. Yon bang something that will reflect the human side and his/her environment.

Huwag mo nang isasama ang work place ng mga pinagdadalahan sa amin ni Lino - he he he he.

hi alan,

thanks for the compliment. yes, i agree that some of the shots i took are blurred. anyway, it is entirely my fault because i sometimes do not bring my tripod with me. i have a 75mm-200mm f/4.5 zoom and since i usually use iso 100 film i usually end up using a shutter speed lower than what the lens opening can handle. yes, i'll try some nature shots in that way i will have the dicipline to use a tripod. thanks again.

Hi Jasper. Like you, I myself is a photo buff but always a beginner.

I am amazed by the composition of your photos. They're great. I like most your photos on humans as your subject. Except for some blurred shots, most of them I think are very good. You can try to capture different emotions and moods from your subjects.

You can also try more nature shots (sunrise, typhoons, beach, etc.), and tropical plants and species which are endemic in your area. You have the advantage of travelling and meeting a lot of people. You can create a wealth of photo documentation.
