I have also used photoshop USM (settings were something like: Amout 100-150%, radius 0,4 and threshold 2) to give some punch to details, and that is propably the reason JPEG artifacts are so well visible in some plases!

So you simply re-compressed them to reduce filesize?
no photoshop proccessing or simmilar?
Thanks for your reply. :)
yes, I did recompress them and they were shot in High Quality (HQ) and maximum size. I was a bit a short of memory so had to go down in quality. I try to use SHQ when ever I can. Thanks for you comments!

Hi!
Nice galleries, and nice camera, the C4000.
but one question: some photos in the Kesaloma 2003 galleries
have severe JPEG artifacts.
Did you recompress them?
