Least Tern with fledglings at Lovers Key State Park
Fort Myers Beach, Florida USA
Least Tern with fledglings destined for migration to Argentina from Lovers Key State Park,
Fort Myers Beach, Florida USA. 200 breeding pairs in the 2008 season were documented by park volunteer,
Pam Jones-Morton, whose efforts benefit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the International
Shorebird Society, and other agencies that request Pam's data. I first observed the Least Tern at the
1616-acre park 29 May 2008 and last saw it 14 July 2008.
