What a sweet portrait!! If she really hates it, you could use the healing brush or a little blur to make the light on her face a tad more flattering, but I think you're right, she looks beautiful and so does Ella.

Now about the picture. I love the blackness, The light in thier eyes are terrific. But what did you use for lighting? maybe try the shot again with some "soft" light like placing some lace or white sheet over a light source. Maybe Staci would like that better. I known nothing about studio setups or lighting so i'm only guessing at this. Hope it gives you some ideas.
