What a beautiful nature gallery. We'll be in your area in September and hope to see some of the flora and fauna you've captured so nicely. Thanks for the teaser! :-)
Kind regards, Laurie Hawkins http://www.pbase.com/davehawkins

Hi John, thanks for the good word on the Bruce Hall Shot. It's not perfect, but I like the feel of the shot. Real Rock and Roll. My wife and I caught REO last Saturday.
I'm trying to move my subject out of centre, and I feel the bit of red really adds to the flavor of the shot. Thanks for the kind words, I peruse your galleries often, and you are very talented.

Cheers

Thanks for letting me know you came to Bellingham to see Whatcom Falls Park. Based on the great pictures in your portfolio I bet you took some great photos there. Regards, Ann Chaikin

Thanks for visiting and commenting in my galleries. Coming from you I felt I'd received quite a compliment! I very much appreciate your 'view' in the photographic world and some of your shots have inspired me to take a look at my surroundings a little differently . . .altho I don't have as cool a city to roam as you do =)

Thanks again for your visit

John, you commented and asked about my ptarmigan photo. I took that photo about 1978 at the upper end of Necklace Valley, King County Washington, near LaBohn Lakes. Thanks for commenting. Jim, Washington, USA

Now why does My text have a line through it in that last message? That's just weird!

Hey John!

I enjoyed exploring your galleries. I especially loved the shot of Spoon Lake. Tell your co-workers at the office I am doing fine today.

Hi John,

Thank you for your comments in my guestbook - I really enjoyed your galleries too! Brought me back to my days on the Mainland and felt a real sense of 'being home' with all your familiar shots. We have so much of the same flora and fauna that our galleries may eventually start to mirror each other!

Keep up the good work, I will be back to visit often.

Cheers from the Island.

Hi, John,

I'm drafting my next monthly report and would like to get permission to use your picture of the Bewick's Wren.

I am adding a new "Trip Reports" section to my personal web page and would like to include your picture since I will be relating my experience with the bird from a past trip. So that's why I'd be honored if I could use it in my trip report. Of course, I'd credit your name and add a link to your PBase.com site so that my readers may view it. I will also provide another link with detailed info under my Links section.

Here's my last report so you may see how I credit photographers and if you would feel comfortable having your work on my pages: http://home.att.net/~arleen.obrien/BirdJoyDec2004.html

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi! I'm from Portugal and i've just know about you trough www.s5000.net. I've one fujifilm S5000 too and i'm just amazed about your Macro photos. Just incredible! I also like macro photography but I was a bit confused about how to get those close-ups. In your site you talk about macro lens - well now I know what to buy myself for christmas ;) .

Wishing you merry christmas and hopping to see your photographic-gene talking. Good job!

Hi John:

I didn't really look (you know actually take my time, sit down, grab a cup of tea and check it out kind of look ) at you galleries of photographs before until tonight. I enjoyed it very much, some of the garden shots are excellent. Well done!!!! Have a good vacation... Kent/
