Corning Bed Races

Yes that is correct I said Bed Races. Once a year in Corning CA, we have the Bed Races. With 3 pushing and one riding, at the halfway point the rider jumps off and switches places with one of the pushers. They also have to exchange outer layer shirts. It is a little strange, but fun.

I wanted to see if anyone else in the world runs bed races and it's great to see these photos. Our nursing agency runs bed races as part of our Big Wrap (ie. big thanks) for Nurses every International Nurses Day in May. We do similar with 4 per team but the person on the bed has to sit on a bed pan full of liquid and the prize is the Golden Bed Pan. They're held on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. Hi I lived there in 1996 to 1998 (went to maywood)and wanted to know If anyone knows if there is a way to look at corning high school yearbooks from what would have been the year I gratuated from this high school 2003
