The Great flood of Jan 2009

The highest flood level ever recorded occurred on Jan 7, 2009 on the South Fork of the Newaukum River, Lewis County, Washington State, USA Most of Lewis county rivers flooded some but not as high as recent years.

Great documentary of the flood in 2009. I did the aerial flood survey starting from North Bend to Everett. It was a devastating flood in all directions.

Hi Jim and Nancy,

I don't think I want to drive over your bridge right now!! Scary enough when the water is down where it is supposed to be. Love the pictures though.
