Snowy Owl (very small) and Pacific Norhwest pics

Every 10 years or so Snowy Owls make an irruption into Washington State leaving their normal habitat in the arctic. The 2005-2006 winter was a year that they came south in greater numbers. We made a two hour trip and happened to see one on the south side of the mouth of the Columbia river but was not able to get close for a good picture. The other pictures were take on this day trip
