Notice to all: Unfortunately I am the "other" Jim Stroup. The one in St. Louis, Missouri, not California. I hope that doesn't take the shine off of my work for you.

Dear Jim,
I just picked up your postcard in Bishop, CA of the bristlecone pines . You said that this was the only place they live.
I would like to send you a picture of what I think is also the bristlecone. I live 40 miles west of Lake Tahoe and on hiway 88 I am sure that is what they are. I also am into photography and would like advice on how to market my photos.
Your photos are fantastic.
Thank you, Please respond.
Sincerely, Elizabeth Butterfield

I believe I recently saw one of your photographs in a coffee shop in Roanoke. It was a picture of the forest in the Appalachians enveloped in fog. Is there anyway to aquire a print?
