The Nassau County Museum of Art, located in Roslyn Harbor, was originally "Clayton", the estate of Childs Frick, son of Henry Clay Frick.
Childs resided there from 1919 to his death at age 81 in 1965. Nassau County purchased the property in 1969 for the purpose of creating an art museum.

Photographer's Note: Exhibits, both indoors and outdoors, are constantly changing. Therefore, many of the pictures are of art objects that are no longer displayed.
