The beautiful marble swimming pool was filled in with dirt by the Pall Corp., then the mess was partly paved over to form a car park. So technically the pool is still there, you just can't see it or swim in it...

I read the book "Winfield" By Monica Randall and became so facinated by this estate! Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful photos! Was hoping to see a pic of the pool and this garden house that Monica mentions they used for storage? Are they still there?
