These photo's were taken in Downtown Detroit, all shots, even night shots were taken hand held. It was raining most of the day. There is a interesting contrast between the old and the new buildings. Detroit was once a beautiful city and now pretty much run down and a very sad place to see. I see many homeless and hopeless people walking the city during the day. Many buildings are abandoned and empty, Detroit is working hard to clean up the city for next years Super Bowl. I’m always happy to fly home on Thursday, life in the Midwest is a lot brighter.
