MOON, LIGHTS

Hitchin, England

I had taken a few shots of the moon at about 10pm last night but the light, other polution and my small lens gave me results I was not happy with. Whilst delivering flowers to our company depopt's I kept an eye on the moon, thinking about D/SLR's and long lenses. When I got to Hitchen in Hertfordshire at about 3.30 AM this is what I saw, NO tripod, NO parking. I stopped the van in the middle of the road took 2 shots hand held and this was the result. I would have loved to have time to do the job properly, but I doubt if I will see the moon like this again in a long, long time. I have removed some of the orange glow from the moon but thats all.
If I had, had the time I think getting detail of the buildings would have made the shot.

I really like it without the buildings. Much more mysterious.
