This was one of the hightlights of our trip. I wish we had spent some more time here. We did a little too much sightseeing on the drive from Kona so by the time we got to the Volcanoe Park we just had enought daylight to make the hike out to the lava flow. It is definately worth being there at night, the glow from the lava slowly oozing out of the ground is amazing. If you go tho, you definately need a flashlight for the hike back.
