Jill, Finally had time to get back and finish looking at this gallery. Your images take time to look at - there is so much to see in them. This is a tremendous gallery. Wonderful b&w/tones; excellent compositions and light capture; marvelous rendition of textures. Big V!

Yes, Jill, this visual symphony was undoubtedly composed
for a full orchestra of photographic effects and techniques!
This B&W symphonic score proves quite convincingly that B&W is often
superior to colour, depending on the subject and situation.
You've demonstrated here how the mood, atmosphere and spirit can
be enhanced quite substantially, utilizing B&W and monochrome notation.
And the technical advantage is that there are often superior
tones, textures and contrast - thus increasing visual
symphonic eloquence and drama.
Masterful technique, artistry and poetry!
