March 2006 - Redang Kalong, Redang South-East Coast
I had accidentally stayed on 3 different beaches on Redang Island on 3 seperate trips.
The East Coast where Ayu Mayang was situated has now become the most populated and most commercialised beach on Redang. The sand is still as powdery, the waves are still as exciting... but the crowded beach front simply puts me off...
Berjaya Resort is situated in a very private cove in the North of Redang... Higher-class, but I didn't really enjoy the stay there...
Redang Kalong... It's about 15 mins walk away from the main crowded East Coast... It's private enough too, but at a more reasonable costs... But of course, the beach front isn't as fantastic as the East Coast... there are lots of dead corals being washed onto the shore, which makes swimming quite an ouch ouch affair...
But I loved the simplicity and quietness... That there's no noise pollution from the crowd... I could sit in solitude by the beach and read my book and laze my time away...

Your photography are more than artistic...it is spiritual, like you were in conversation with the divine when these shots were taken.
I could sense the serenity that you must have experienced when you were one with nature.
Thanks for sharing your gallery with me.
