Kumbu Stupa, the largest stupa in Tibet, is found in the Pelkhor Monastery... All around the monastery, I thought I saw walls that were similar to the Great Wall of China... but I soon found out that these walls were built by ancient Kings to defend against the invasion of the British...

Amazing history... a land that so many other nations are interested in occupying... very sad indeed...
