Baby kangaroos are called joeys. They like to stay snug in their mother's pouches. If something happens to the mother, then carers use cloth pouches instead, like you see in this gallery.

They are born quite tiny, much smaller than the younder joey you see here. Even so, the younger one here didn't want to come out at all for a photo, but with the help of the carer, I was able to get a usable shot. The slightly older joey wouldn't stay still much at all, but gave more opportunities. It wasn't interested in the camera, but took a liking to the flower, which it sucked rather than trying to eat. Still young enough to be at the sucking stage.
