Jeff, I have run across your web site of Clear Lake and I am thrilled to see it! I am 57 years old now...my grandparents, Harry and Mary Hageman lived at the lake in the '40s and '50s and as a spoiled and blessed granddaughter, those were the best memories of my life! My grandparents are now buried at the cemetary across the street from Clear Lake Lutheran Chapel. I was just there in July of 2000. Joyce Lamont-Crowl (who wrote a message in your comment section was at the funteral then too! - she was my aunt's best friend!) I even got to visit my grandparent's home which is now owned by the Eckridge family (950 is the address on their mailbox). I have so many old photo's I could add to your file, but unfortunately I don't have a digital camera yet. If I get one I will send you some neat photos! So thank you for making this site available. Do you live at the lake or did you have relatives that did (do)? I miss it so much. I would love to visit again soon. I live in Arizona - my parents moved us out here in 1959 after my Grandpa Hageman died. I would love to know what your ties to the lake are if you would have time to drop me a note. Thank you again. I was searching for pictures of the Hazenhurst Hotel at Clear Lake and came across your website tonight with all the old pictures! So glad to find them as I have been searching for awhile. My family vacationed at the Hazenhurst in the 1950's and I have a few pictures but no good ones of the hotel. I have a Christmas card that the hotel sent my family in 1952 with 2 pictures that might be of interest to you. I can scan it and email it to you if you like. Would love to get more info on the hotel history and fire I think that destroyed it??? Thanks for making these pictures available! Barb Beeghly

Jeff I ran across your site after my son clued me into it. My Grandparents were the owners of Waggoner's South Shore Grill. I am very interested in any pictures or cards that were of that store. I have several of the original cards, and have gone through my Aunt's collection of photos and added them to my collection. My children are interested in their heritage so anything you might have that you scan in is appreciated. Thanks for the site.

I logged on to Yahoo tonight for the first time in I don't know how long and saw the link to your photos. They are all awesome!! I can't believe how big Jenna has gotten, but then again it has been 2 years. It sure doesn't seem like it could have been that long ago. Jeff, I have been wanting to email you since we got back and see if you wouldn't mind to email me the photos you took in China or send me a disc with them on it. I didn't get to take very many after we got the girls, which of course was early in the trip. I didn't have enough arms to carry her and take pictures too! LOL!
Autumn is 3 years old today and is as feisty as ever. She talks all the time and is in to everything. You definitely have to keep a close eye on her because you just never know what she's up to.
I would really appreciate any pictures you could get for me if it's not too much trouble.

Hi ,i just seen your pictures and they very good .I have a little girl similar to the age of yours, my daugther is 3 .I would like to do the same pictures like you did ,the ones of studio home ,I have the G2 like you ,Can you tell how did you do it? Taken many picture and never get a good one .I know i dont have much expirence of photography but i will love to do similar pictures to my girl .Tell me what you use .Thanks and sorry my english .
