Our Santa at our mall is just awesome. Super nice guy too. Took this shot when talking to him the other day. He comes down from Alaska to visit his son for the winter months.

Last weekend we went to Marysville and had to go over Snoqualmie Pass. On the way home it was snowing so hard! We stopped so I could take a few pictures.

Farming Days
Found this beautiful old truck and building in Waterville, WA. Not sure what the building was used for, it is round. Has character tho with the old wood and crooked door.

Electrifying Image
A friends cat. Her name is Pearl. I asked, how did you come up with the name Pearl? She said "well Olivia (their youngest) ran into the room when they first got it and said 'this kitten won't stop pearling!'." So they explained the word is purring, and the name Pearl stuck. :) Love that story.

This old boot was found in an old school house in Waterville, WA. Had a great trip up there visiting friends. Can't wait to go back when it snows too! :)

Sumpter
Went to Sumpter Oregon a few weeks back. Old number 19 was out for mandatory 15 year overhaul. So we had this bitty train, but it had quite a bit of power. Not as much black smoke, steam, rumblings etc, but it did A-Ok. Was kind of fun to photograph a different engine.
#19 will be back in service in 2012.

Old Barn
On the way to Sumpter Oregon just had to stop and take a shot of the old barn. With the mountains in the background and everything, it was too good to pass up.

Little House in the Ghost Town
When we went to Sumpter for the train ride, the day before we had time to ourselves to explore. Found a ghost town of Whitney. Some neat little wood buildings are all that remain of the town.
