Yes, I used a little tracking mount designed for cameras. For this image I used a Takahashi Teegul Star Patrol II but I have now switched to a Kenko SkyMemo--I prefer the polar alignment scope on the Kenko, and it also can easily hold two cameras.

Wow...breathtaking....

I am curious, how was the camera mounted? I really would love to do some astrophotography with my Canon 20D. (Hey, it's not the 20Da but can't have everything).

But I also understand the earth rotates. So is there any easy way to compensate for this movement? Did you have it mounted on a special "tracking" mount.
