Maren Nelson Logan - July 20, 2005

Maren Nelson Logan joined our family on July 20, 2005 at 6:29 PM CDT. She was born at 24 weeks, 5 days; she weighed-in at 1 pound, 6 ounces and 11 inches. Her proud parents are Alison (Hales) Logan and Corbin Logan.

She also has lots of grandparents, aunties & uncles, cousins and friends who love her to pieces!

After a valiant fight, our sweet little Maren returned home to her Heavenly Father on August 11, 2005. She passed peacefully while in her parents' arms. She is so very loved and deeply missed. We are so proud that she is part of our family and always will be.

I happened to see a Maren Nelson in a internet news clip and it caught my eye. My mother's name was Maren and her sirname was Nelson. She would have been about 69 years old today, so this was a very unusual name and is still is. She pronounced it "Marren", not like Karen is pronounced. Anyway, I googled the name and saw your beautiful little baby.

I am a respiratory therapist and used to work in pediatric intensive care, so I understand Maren's struggle...Best of luck to all of you, I hope this little girl enjoys her beautiful name. Carol
