i adpopted this amur leopard for my wife through the adoption program at the phila. zoo. we had adopted "jake", the jaguar for the last eight years until his his death this past summer. jake will be greatly missed by us and all who knew him. however, due to the construction of a new big cat house at the zoo this leopard was moved to jake's old exhibit in the carnivore kingdom. imagine our surprise when we turned the corner to see "baby"(our name for him). it was as if jake had sent him to us to tell us he was allright.
