March 2004 Photo A Day submissions

I'm joining in on the fun of committing to taking a picture a day and posting the results here. I consider myself a serious amateur. I have a lot to learn! I am so awestruck by the level of talent I have found on this website. Becoming a member here is one of the best decisions I've made. I hope to learn from this process of sharing my photos. I've teetered on the edge of this idea for about a month now. With my schedule of a 9-5 job, a husband, two kids, two dogs...there's not much time left for taking photos. I feared that I wouldn't find much that inspires in the places I spend most days. I was wrong! Today alone I discovered that I could photograph something that I've passed by for 2 or more years, almost daily. I've just got to start training my mind's eye to "see" more than just the surface of my environment. Anyway, enjoy!
