Another Christmas has come and gone. And this year was a success...I managed to have minimal breakdowns and everyone is pleased with their haul. :-) I'm starting my New Year's resolutions early by a) taking more pictures and b) doing something with those pictures! What better way to start than Christmas shots? Every year I struggle with the lack of light in our house. Even on a bright morning, we have dark rooms. They don't seem so dark to our eyes, but the camera's eye struggles greatly. The flash doesn't always have what it takes to make up for the lack of light. So this year, I set up a couple of work lights, set low as the kids sit on the floor and with one aimed at each of them. It work great. A little over the top? Probably...but what photographer hasn't gone the extra mile to get shots they love?
