When I first made this site, I wished to learn as much as I could from it. Because I set out with this goal in mind, I decided to never delete a comment that was not spam-related because they would help me become a better photographer.

Therefore, I would like to know, "Guest," how you are able to say that I do not know how to operate my camera. Where have you been educated in the art of photography? What technical photography books have you read? I would like to know which of my images you have viewed and why you chose to say that I do not understand my camera, and I would like to see some of your work as well.

That being said, I hope you realize that you are the only person to have ever said that I do not understand the technical and mechanical aspects behind photography. Ever since I started my first photography class four years ago (and, before you ask, I have been taking photography classes for the past four years), I have shot manual. My first SLR had almost no electrical aspects whatsoever (Minolta XG-7), making mechanical understanding pivotal to success. Ever since then, the dial of every DSLR/SLR I use (and my Canon S1 P&S frequently, too) has never gone off of "M." I've read plenty of books (including every camera manual I own cover to cover with no omissions) on composition and technical operation, and studied in the darkroom in a both a optical and digital setting.

That being said, I have had immense success. My photographs have been selected for numerous photographic awards in huge competitions, and have been chosen for display at many different venues including the Dallas Museum of Art.

When you are able to prove to me that you have something to teach, teach it—not before. Until that point, I will continue on doing what I've been doing, and being recognized as I've been recognized. I am always open for tips in photography; no one is perfect. But when you come on my site and claim that I don't know how to operate my camera and don't cite anything I'm doing wrong (or how to fix it), and don't leave so much as your name to see if you know what you are talking about, you must realize that I am not going to accept those comments.

I hope you see this response and respond yourself with some evidence because I’d hate to pass up an opportunity to learn.

Alot of your shots have beautiful subjects, so you arent shooting the wrong things.

But your technical knowledge of this camera sucks balls.
Go read your manual or a technical photography book.
