Stele Forest 碑林

Stele Forest is a museum for steles and stone sculptures, housed in Xi'an's 11th century Confucius Temple. It began with the Kaicheng Shi Jing Steles (开成石经碑) and Shitai Xiao Jing Steles (石台孝经碑) over 900 years ago. The collection of steles is a great treasure for the study of Chinese calligraphy.
