This is an extremely lucky shot.

We're walking across Westminster Bridge & I spot these 3 girls way on the other side.
As I'm doing candids, I already know that I'm gonna try & grab a shot of them. So I
take my time snapping other photos as we approach each other.

Then, as if by cue, the 3 girls suddenly break apart & pull out their cameras to snap
their own images of the Eye. The gal in the red coat is the more creative of the three,
choosing to snap a self-portrait. All of this just as I approach them. I get one chance
& end up with this image. Sometimes you're lucky.

Greg Norman, the Aussie golfer, once said "The more I practice,
the luckier I get ..." This truism flows over into photography.
You had a camera with you, you were looking for images, you
were making images, and this scene presented itself. How "lucky".... *V*
