We sailed on Oceania's M/S Regatta. Their Palms in Paradise itinerary took us from Miami to San
Francisco via the Panama Canal. The trip was from April 24, 2016 to May 10, 2016. Along the way we stopped in Key West; Cartagena, Colombia; a daylight transit of the Panama Canal; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Zihautanejo, Mexico; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and, finally San Francisco. The trip was marvelous. Oceania is known for its cuisine, and it did not disappoint. It was like having reservations at a gourmet restaurant 16 nights in a row, but the menu changes every night. The trip was sponsored by the Flying Longhorns of the University of Texas Alumni Association utilizing Go Next of Minneapolis as the organizing tour operator.
