After leaving Malaga, we had a day at sea before arriving at Las Plamas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. The island has limited water, most of which is used for agriculture. Residents depend on bottled water to drink. The island is beautiful and rugged. The countryside is dotted with villages displaying spectacular colors on the building.
