This is an image on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy showing thousands of stars in 1 square degree image (69' x 51' FOV). Near the exact center (as shown) is the asteroid 624 Hektor. This Trojan asteroid is at the L4 Lagrange point leading Jupiter in it's orbit. This image is a stack of 13 x 120sec images taken with my QHY9m TEC CCD and SW Equinox 120 ED APO Refractor. The total exposure of 26 minutes shows stars down to approx 20th magnitude. The mid-exposure time is 02:59:30 UT.
