Bullock carts waiting at the jetty on Mingun Island to pick up passengers arriving by boat to visit the island.
The best time to take pictures, I was taught previously, is after a shower, when the rain has washed away the dust and the air is clear. While this is certainly true for taking pictures of pristine scenes in countries like Switzerland or New Zealand etc, do not be afraid to experiment with dust when photographing in countries like Burma. Dust is part of the environment almost everywhere in Burma. And dust is mood and atmosphere, especially when it catches the rays of sunlight in the early morning or later afternoon, as in this picture.
