Passage to Emperor Liu Bei's Mausoleum, Wuhou Temple (Aug 06)

This is "The Corridor" which links the Hall of Liu Bei and Liu Bei's Mausoleum in Wuhou Si (or Temple of the Duke of Wu) in Chengdu. I have seen this scene captured by several photographers including in PBase, and indeed it is most photogenic. The S-shaped corridor, lined on both sides by classical red Chinese walls with overhanging green and shady bamboo plants, evokes a certain kind of charm and atmosphere which strike all visitors as they enter through the moon gate from the Hall of Liu Bei into The Corridor.
