Entrance Gate to the Heilongtan (Black Dragon Pool), the best known and most frequently visited park in Lijiang. Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to photograph Lijiang's signature and picture-postcard view here, of the snow-capped Yulongxue Shan (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain)and its reflection in the waters of the Heilongtan between an arched marble bridge and the so-called Moon-Embracing Pavilion (a three-storey Chinese pavilion). This was because the Yulongxue Shan was completely shrouded in mist and hidden from view by it.
