Located a stone's throw away from the Lunghu Ta (Dragon & Tiger Padogas) on Lianchitan Lake (Lotus Lake), the Spring & Autumn Pavilions (Chunchiu Ge) is located directly opposite a Taoist temple dedicated to Kuankung, the God of War. Several statues of gods from the Taoist pantheon grace the southern shore of Lianchitan Lake around the Spring & Autumn Pavilions. Aside from the inevitable legend asscociated with the place which has it that Kuanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, appeared above the clouds here riding a dragon, the place is rather ordinary (like the Dragon & Tiger Pagodas). Modern-day buildings dot the shore of the lake and form an eyesore of a backdrop to the place.
