This is the bar crowd on New Year's Eve, hence the Christmas decorations still hanging. The group in the middle is scarfing down the hors d'oeuvres served about an hour before supper. Typically, the fresh catch of the day, ie. tuna or grouper, served on chips with a friole and picante dips - a meal on it's own.
