Hello Symi, It's only a month since we left Symi and in England it's raining. I am about to go to Liverpool to see the Stavros S Niarchos, the Tall Ship we sailed into Yialos a couple of years ago on the Greek Voyage of Understanding. I will be there for a couple of days to see 70 Tall Ships sail away for the 2008 race. Sadly not able to go and play as I need to work!! I know they want to know if we will be invited back to Symi. Can I say a very big "Thankyou" to Dr Santos for looking after me in his Chorio center. I had better medical help there than I would have ever received in UK. He has the all important "human care" nature and even made me some food when everywhere was shut on a Sunday. Thanks also to the Dr who escorted me to Rhodes on the ferry to get to hospital. It wasn't very pleasant there as I was supposed to be able to eat and drink fluid before I left but I was left alone for hours and hours before any nurse came to see me. Dr Santos, I will bring the kidney dish back , I promise! It came in handy on the plane home when I was asked to help out with two very ill passengers on the aeroplane. One collapsed and the cabin crew didn't know what to do!! So if there is any funding for a nurse in Symi... GIVE me a job!!!!!!!!! Many thanks from a Symi addict, Viv Lowe. PS. HI There Jens Jakob, I haven't yet made it to Symi,but your Pictuers have made me even more determined to go there soon.I have to make do with the Cyclades this summer!!! It's not to much of a burden.Keep taking those beautiful pictures ,Love light and peace Paul Beckett,West Mids ,England

Very nice photos from the top to the bottom of Symi. Nice view from near the helicopter pad and the church if no one has told you yet is Evangelismos. Lovely panorama shots.

Meget flotte og stemningsfulde billeder :-) Vi skal derned til august og glæder os. Vi tager en ny ø hvert år (Kreta, Kalymnos, Naxos, Chios og Lesvos indtil videre) - og efter dine billeder at dømme, er der ikke mindre skønt her end på de andre øer. I vores næste liv har vi planer om at bo på en Græsk ø. Tak fordi du tog tid til at lægge billederne ud.

Your photographs are absolutely wonderful, you certainly have a great talent. I like photography myself and i can really appreciate the thoughtful composition that goes into your pictures.I also like painting and i am going to have a go at some of your scenes. My husband and i have had some lovely holidays on Symi; the first one way back in 1983. We are retiring to the Peloponnese in August 2005 and i am sure our first holiday will be to beautiful Symi! I will also be looking forward to taking some more photo's as i hope to have a digital camera by then! In the meantime we shall enjoy looking at your pictures, keep up the good work!

Wonderful Photographs thank you for sharing them. I will be in Symi for our third visit on the 18th of September with my wife and the day can't come fast enough in the mean time and for the Winter we can visit your site and the Symi Visitor to keep us alive untill our next visit. Lovely photographs! I was on Symi for two weeks last year, and was intending to go back this fall...but can't make it. However, your photographs - which I looked at wistfully with my chin resting in my hand - has made me more determined to return to Symi next year. Beautiful photographs of a beautiful place.
