Had A Bad Day!?

Define bad day:

Doing a Spring Cleaning for a client.
Client has super nice tilt-in windows that have special UV coating.
Cleaning that window and assumming that the tilt-in window will tilt-in and hold on its own.
Window does not.
Window does a back flip into the house.
Window pulls away from window framing.
Window puts a huge hole in screen.
Window also decides that it will crack from one end to the other.
Window also thinks it is best to hit hardwood floor and take a nice huge chunk out of it and several smaller spots too!

So, do you agree?
Enough to qualify as a bad day?

Bad day? Yes. End of world? No.
It's just something to laugh about later when you are training someone else.

well definately not a GOOD day... sure hope today is better for ya!!!

Shitty, indeed. Sorry to hear that. But consider the following end:
Window does a back flip into the house
Jen tries to hold it.
Jen falls out.
See, could be worse.
Hugs.

Sounds like it was an accident waiting to happen and
it just happened to happen to you. They should claim it
on their homeowners insurance and not blame you.
And they should be damn glad you didn't get hurt
by the window and/or glass!

Bad day? ...maybe, but tomorrow is another day.
Keep your chin up cheddar.
: )

I agree with Malcolm! windows are NOT supposed to fall out and land on the floor!

Oh no... please tell me these are the lyrics to a country/western song and not the kind of day you had.

This more than qualifies you for the Awful Bad Horrible
No Good Day Award, and that isn't a prize you want to win, Jen.
Sending you a smile and a hug!

omg.. Oh no!!!!! I hope you have better days. Were the home owner mad?
Malcolm Smith13-May-2008 20:53
That is definitely a bad day. Commiserations. I hope you were not injured. You should sue the client for having an unsafe place of work ;)
Guest 13-May-2008 20:49
Oh Jen, I'm so sorry for you. Love you!

Yes sounds like a Marx Bros film. Such a very bad day. The shot really works well though
and shows the mood.

Go for a run...it will help.
