Jeff and I have attended many high profile college football games over the years. Last year we decided to up the ante and attend our first NFL game together. This year’s plan was for Jeff to fly into Sacramento and then take a road trip down to San Diego. In San Diego we would rendezvous with another old buddy Chad who currently calls San Diego his home.

Ultimately the goal was to watch the San Diego Charges vs the St Louis Rams. The key to a successful road trip (in my opinion) is to not have an itinerary, only a destination. When Jeff stepped off the plane in Sacramento neither of us had any idea of what was about to happen. Only that we would be in San Diego for kick-off. The following is what took place…
