I had an excellent time with the Peak Potential Crew ( http://www.peakpotentialclimbing.com/ ) rock climbing at the Gunks. There was much excitement throughout the day ( http://www.pbase.com/jenfu/pp_at_the_gunks ). However, I picked this photo because I felt that it captured a certain calm and peace. Ray is a great guy who is generous and friendly. Furthermore, he is very kind to the kids in our adaptive climbing program. Ray did a good deal of hard climbing but he was sitting peacefully at this moment.
Between the hecticness of summer and the harshness of winter,there is autumn. It is the eye of my storm and I try to embrace it each year.
